How can I book a property?
You can browse through our online catalogue and choose your favourite property, then check the date on the online calendar, fill the form with your email address, any request and send it to us.
Once we have checked the availability, we will email you a link for the online reservation; you can book just clicking on the blue link “to confirm reservation click here” at the bottom, then follow the instructions; you will be asked to fill in a form and pay the deposit by wire transfer or credit card.
The price shown is the actual amount to be paid, any extra charge is mentioned in the “more information” section, just below the calendar. Extras shall be paid directly on the spot.
Rental periods go from Saturday to Saturday; should you need a different date, please let us know and we will check the availability for a different date.
How can I pay the rental?
Credit cards accepted are Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Transactions are made on secured circuits. Payments by wire transfer are also possible.
If payments are made through PayPal, they are subject to a 5% surcharge on the total price.
Which is the check-in and check-out time?
Check-in is usually between 4 to 8 pm.
Check-out is usually within 9 am.
If the rented property has been cleaned before 4 pm for your arrival you can enter into the house.
Is a car necessary?
Hiring a car is not necessary: public means of transport are within easy reach.
Bus stops are close to the entrance of almost all our properties.
Are linens included?
Towels and linens are included in the rental price of all properties. Upon payment of a surcharge to the owner, an extra change of linens can be requested.
How can I reach the property?
Once we receive the balance, you will be given a voucher with all the details to reach the accommodation, including the address, the owner’s name or that of a representative who will be waiting for you on site. Please get in touch with them at least 3 hours before arrival.
Is it possible to have a discount for long periods of rental?
Please send us an email and we will arrange a quotation for you.
Are the dates of availability accurate?
As a general rule, availability is updated in real time as soon as reservations are made, except if due to circumstances beyond our control.
What if we break something during our stay in the property?
Please inform immediately the owner, who might deduct the amount necessary for reparations from the security deposit. Should you need any assistance, do not hesitate to contact us.
Which are the terms of payment?
Confirmation shall be made with the transfer of the 25% of the total amount within 5 days from receipt of the email with the link for payment.
Balance of the amount shall be transferred 2 months before the arrival date.
Please note that, whenever possible, we try to be flexible with the above mentioned condition!
Which are the penalties?
Please see the “general conditions” for penalties in case of cancellation. We will try to re-accommodate the rent in order not to lose the deposit of the partial amount paid.
Why should I reserve with you?
Cutty Sark is a travel agency, not a real estate agency, which has been operating for 20 years. We are happy to organize for you any kind of package holidays, including hotel, flight and ferry bookings, excursions, insurances. We must also draw up a civil liability insurance for our customers.
Is it possible to find basic necessities, when we arrive?
We can buy for you the basic necessities; just send us an email with your needs and you can pay upon arrival.
